INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT

The State of Alaska does not issue International Driving Permits nor are they required to drive in Alaska.

You may drive in Alaska with your out-of-country driver's license for up to 90 days. Please carry a translation of your driver's license if it isn't in English. This should be an official translation as provided by your embassy.

You may apply for an International Driving Permit through AAA. Please contact AAA for further information.
