Fairbanks DMV Construction 8/14 – 8/21

Starting tomorrow August 14th, a sewer main replacement project will commence at the Eagle Plaza Mall in Fairbanks, affecting the Fairbanks DMV office. This construction is expected to significantly limit parking availability for the DMV from August 14th through August 21st.

To accommodate our customers during this time, we have arranged for a designated handicapped parking space, and the ADA-compliant ramp will remain accessible throughout the construction period. However, we have rescheduled all motorcycle and Class D road tests for the week due to the reduced parking capacity.

We advise customers to be aware of the limited parking and, if possible, consider postponing their visit to the Fairbanks DMV until after the construction is complete. Our call center staff has been informed and can assist with any inquiries related to this situation.
