Locations & Closures

All State DMV offices are closed:

• State holidays, AND
• The first Tuesday of each month from 8:30 A.M. - 9:30 A.M. for division-wide training.

Due to a staffing shortage, this office will be closed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time.

Many DMV services can be completed online. We encourage you to visit our online services link for processing options, including vehicle registration renewals, driver's license renewals, and other transactions.

This office will be closed from October 27th - November 12th. 

This office will have the following closures:

Nov 26^th at 2pm

This office will be closed November 4th - November 12th.

This office will be closed from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on October 31st. 

Notice of Updated Office Hours

Effective November 5th, our office will be closed daily from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

Additionally, we will be conducting road tests every Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The office will be closed to the public during this time.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Kotzebue Office Reopening – Limited Services

Effective November 10th, the Kotzebue Office will reopen with limited services.

The office will be processing the following transactions:

• Basic Non-Commercial Driver’s Licenses (Standard and Real ID)

• Identification Cards (Standard and Real ID)

All other DMV-related transactions should be completed online or by mail until staff training is fully completed.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to restore full services.
