Closures & Delays

All State DMV offices are closed:

• State holidays, AND
• The first Tuesday of each month from 8:30 A.M. - 9:30 A.M. for division-wide training.

Due to a staffing shortage, this office will be closed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time.

Many DMV services can be completed online. We encourage you to visit our online services link for processing options, including vehicle registration renewals, driver's license renewals, and other transactions.

Notice of Office Closure
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Kotzebue office will be closed on August 11. Please note that the Kotzebue representative is a Department of Public Safety (DPS) employee who also provides services on behalf of the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV). We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to check back for updates regarding reopening.
